Mancini Design has created an amazing LEGO-like interior for a coffeehouse called Mocha – Mojo, located in Chennai, India.
Portuguese practice OODA created a proposal for the ‘Istanbul disaster prevention + education centre’ international design competition to implement a facility to protect against and inform of the implications of natural disasters to be located within Istanbul, Turkey. The tilted axis of the geometrical structure is set within a landscape featuring a cultural turkish pattern generating a network of connections to the surrounding context. Leading towards the iconic building, a series of walled pathways are carved into the constructed site and a park is placed upon the generated roof. Programmatic spaces within the multiple and irregular levels intend to host courses, seminars and venues to develop public awareness about earthquakes and floods.

Bocci has introduced a huge range of color in its 28 series collection. Creative Director Omer Arbel’s intent behind 28 was to design a system that produces form, rather than designing form itself. A magnificent success, the pendants are designed to cluster in hexagonal shapes, which nestle into one another. Adding color introduces a grand range of infinite possibilities, from clustering by similar hues to creating amazing multicolor installations.

Considered one of the best Japanese restaurants in Mexico City and due to its remarkable success, Tori-Tori is now moving to a bigger location in the same area of Polanco, Mexico City, where Architect Michel Rojkind and Industrial Designer Hector Esrawe teamed up to make it happen.
At the residential area in Polanco that has seen changes in its zoning, houses have been transformed to office spaces or restaurants.
Sometimes things happen so unnoticeably, that just a small sign appears where a new space has been developed with a completely different program inside, while preserving its exterior. Aware of this, Rojkind and Esrawe wanted to give enough strength to the new program that they proposed to transform the space inside out.
Taking advantage of the plot’s conditions, the parking space will be left where it is, to use the budget mainly for restructuring and renovating the house, stripping the residential interior and removing all familiar features to produce an entirely different environment.

Exclamation Marky Flying Robot was the first creative work of young office “Form & Drang†in Leipzig, Germany. It is actually a mascot to symbolize futuristic, quickness, youthful energy, enthusiasm, and action. The client demanded the mascot represents all that symbols in exclamation point!. That’s why therobot looks like flying exclamation mark. During the design process, the team was inspired by the actual design of computers, mp3 players, and many gadgets, because the intention was to reach young and technology interested people through this robot. Zaha Hadid Architect and Roca announce the opening of the Roca London Gallery – a design inspired by the power of water as a transforming element to carve a sequence of dynamic, porous spaces for the gallery. Fissures and slices in the walls give permeability consistently throughout the gallery. The design theme of water extends to the facade, which appears as a set of ripples in movement across the exterior.

Food delivery containers are usually made of paper, plastic or foam. They’re quick to make, cheap to produce and provide very little incentive to reuse. The Eco Bowls are designed to quick assemble down into separate components to be easier for disposal. They also happen to look good enough to keep and reuse so my question is, why wouldn’t you?
